A quick snap from down by the King Harry Ferry crossing just down the road from Trelissick Gardens . There seemed to be a lot of craft out on the water last Sunday , both here on the River Fal and just a bit downstream in Carrick Roads even more boats were there !!

Pendennis Castle is in the background, on the far bank of the River Fal.
Thought I would give it a try. Have a great weekend all!!!
I really detest my old chain link fence but I thought this might be a way to try and appreciate it.

St Mawes Castle in the foreground and Pendennis Castle across the River Fal, guarding the entrance to Falmouth Harbour.
A shot of the pontoon at Trelissick for those arriving by boat and for catching one of the Enterprise boats tripping up and down the River Fal and around Carrick Roads .
The shot was taken from the zig-zag path to the pontoon from the South Walk around the boundary of Trelissick Gardens .
A view of the pontoon from the bottom can be seen in the first comment box .

The River Fal looking inland from Pendennis Point, Falmouth. The little boat is one of the harbour pilot boats used for guiding bigger ships in and out of the Fal and Falmouth.
A pair of class 153 single car units head for Falmouth while working the 1620 Truro - Falmouth Docks service. The Fal estuary and a scattering of pleasure boats are visible above the train, with the opening to the English Channel being out of sight to the right.
The train is crossing Collegewood Viaduct, immediately south of Penryn station. The piers of the original timber-topped Cornwall Railway viaduct in the foreground are grade II listed.
