Are you serious? I can't believe it's effing July already. I woke up this morning and cried because of it.
Do you ever feel like your life is just slipping by too quickly? I want everything to just slow down. I need the days to be longer and life to just take its sweet time. It all needs to chill out.
July better feel like it takes years to finish.
SO i got all dolled up today cause i was told i would be able to go to the bank and pull $out for next school year and buy some shoes. So tell my why my mom is still asleep, the bank is closed. I dunno, i got really upset. I spent all morning taking a shower, putting on makeup, only to be like... stood up. Sounds familiar.
She spent all last night talking to her bf, who was at work. Like... i dunno, maybe i'm over reacting. She decided to make the drive up to Davis, but I have the feeling it's so her bf doesn't drive alone, not for me. Its' just becoming very clear where her priorities lie. Last night, I said i would go to the store and if she wanted to come with. Her answer? No, i have to wait cause i know he's going to call me from work.
I dunno why it upsets me so much.
&what's worse is I've got no one rooting for me. I'm getting shit for going to college, I'm getting shit for going to costarica. Crap for being skinny and crap for gaining weight. WTF. I can't do anything without receiving any criticism. What's worse is this is coming from my BLOOD relatives, people who are supposed to be supportive no matter what. I can't even be independent OR dependent. I dunno what i'm supposed to be doing to make everyone in a good mood.
I'm trying to do the things i love and nobody cares.

I finally caved and bought a new camera, the Canon Powershot A620. It arrived today and I like it quite a lot.
I did, of course, have to test it by taking silly photos of myself. Naturally. I hope I look sufficiently happy.
Londres (Nelson y sus estrellas)
Probably one of my favourite photos, taken by my friend Anna.
London was a terrific experience, always wanted to start a life on my own in a different city and well I did it there, had a great time, met great people and learned quite a lot.
I won one of those silly contests with this song. The challenge: Name as many songs as you could featuring the word London on it, after going through ELO, The Clash, The Smiths, Don McLean and many others, I mentioned this one. My opponent was a British someone, so I just beat him as he didn´t know this great song, which is a pity, still I think he owns me the prize.
I have more than 200 reasons for loving London and for getting back there, won´t mention them here as this might get a bit boring, I just felt right when I was there.
