The Palácio Nacional da Pena is a royal palace built in a romatic architecture style located in Sintra.
It is famous for its vibrant colours and can be visited in Sintra which is about an hour outside of Lisbon.
It is difficult to get a good view of the palace since the surrounding forest is quite dense and tall. To get this shot I needed to walk up a peak to a view point called High Cross.
Totally worth it and highly recommended!
Deze Vliegenzwam stond prachtig in het laatste zonlicht. Het is overigens een dubbele belichting om er een dromerige feel aan te geven.
'As Aerys held her and breathed her in, he knew from that moment on there was nothing he wouldn't do to protect her, for in his arms, he held his hopes, his dreams, his everything'
You can come visit and rent a home if you like!

Watch out! I've just discovered I can select the whole sky and edit it! Another shot from a brief visit to Castle Tioram with bride and groom, Emma and Tom. Playing around in Light Room, I think I've ended up with a bit of a fairytale result
Prince Peter dreams about his princess Rosie [ www.flickr.com/photos/40262251@N03/ ] who lives in Australia
PETER:
Rosie....I hear you calling for help.
I'm coming my sweet princess.
Where are you?
Huh....what do you say??? Fairytale forest...late sunset???
OMG...then it's dangerous in the woods. The Big Bad Wolf walks through the forest at night and eats cute bear girls
I fight the big wolf with my paws (Peter swings around with his paws and hits Oleg full in the face).
OLEG:
Ough!!! You hit me with your paw Peter ...that hurts.
PETER: (screams and cries)
Rosie is in danger!!!!
She gets eaten by the Big Bad Wolf!
OLEG:
Peter...calm down....you're having a nightmare
Everything's okay with Rosie.
On Valentine's Day she comes to stay with us together with Scout
PETER:
Thank you Oleg
Can I lie against you.
OLEG:
You can..but you have to go back to sleep

I’m in love with a fairytale
Even though it hurts
’Cause I don’t care if I lose my mind
I’m already cursed
Every day, we started fighting
Every night, we fell in love
No one else could make me sadder
But no one else could lift me high above

Hof Espelo, Enschede, The Netherlands
You can see the versatility of the Twente landscape here: hedgerows, springs, small streams, picturesque vistas and of course special and rare animals and plants. A visit in autumn is recommended because of the many types of mushrooms. Hof Espelo is characterized by old avenues, flowering fields and grassy meadows. The Eschbeek meanders across the estate here, an estate that is surrounded by a very old deciduous forest.
was going through old PSDs found this i remember not loving it at all (plus that was when sl wouldn't process picture for me wll )but after almost a year hey i'm liking it a little more:)

Peacock pigeons are probably one of the oldest bred pigeons in the world. Many of these pigeons have found their home at Wartburg Castle, Germany.
The woods at Scholar Green are quite magical with bluebells and wild garlic. There are thousands of little pink flowers in this scene but I just couldn't bring them out in the way I had imagined before I got there. I blame the light. Anyhow, must dash. Eurovision tonight. Krypetsky Monastery is a Russian Orthodox monastery situated 23 km from Pskov.
The monastery was founded in 1485 by St. Savva Krypetsky, a Serbian monk from Mount Athos, in what was then described as an impracticable mire. Two years later, the Pskov veche supported his establishment by granting a large plot of land to the monks. Prince Obolensky had a road for pilgrims built through the mire to the monastery. St. Savva died on 28 August 1495 and was interred in the then timber cathedral, which was rebuilt in stone in 1547 and still stands.
