The Saloon
This room once commanded an excellent view across an orchard to the River Ouse. Here the plasterwork ceiling is the finest in the house. The foliage seems to be in perpetual motion, swirling across the ceiling towards a frieze of lions and leaves.

Seeing a trio of geeps pulling an empty is always a treat as it's normally a GEVO or 2 for power. Hopefully, we'll get another run of geeps pulling coal before Alliant Energy converts the Prairie Creek Generating Station to natural gas in 2025.
