This was definitely a labor of love, and I plan to offer these children's fairy sets in my Etsy shop from time to time.

The set begins with a hand-tied tulle tutu in two shades of pink as well as shots of color with fuchsia and lime green.

The tutu overlay is created from silk dupioni and has a hip corsage made from color coordinating silk flowers.

The top has over 80 silk flower petals sewn in place for maximum security.

The fairy wings are a set of Mini-Ariel wings created in ecru, pink and mauve. The center of the wings is festooned with a silk rose and hydrangeas.

Finally, the little pixie hat has been created from wired leaves which make them adjustable for any little head. It is kept in place by tying a sheer ribbon. The top of the hat is formed by a twisted vine.

The fairy wings are a set of Mini-Ariel wings created in ecru, pink and mauve. The center of the wings is festooned with a silk rose and hydrangeas.

Finally, the little pixie hat has been created from wired leaves which make them adjustable for any little head. It is kept in place by tying a sheer ribbon. The top of the hat is formed by a twisted vine.
