Meanwhile, I felt totally invalidated at work, pigeonholed as emotional, when in reality I was just disagreeing with someone for a totally valid reason. ARgh I hate that. It felt like sexism. After dinner, Kirk and I went to Powell's and I exploded in the car, this is why I went to a women's school, so I wouldn't have to question whether I'm being discounted because I'm a girl, being laughed at or isolated because I speak my mind. It was not fun to revisit those feelings from high school, I'll tell you.
