For some time now, I’ve had this idea to create a flower completely in sterling silver wire. It proved to be somewhat of a struggle to get the many pieces of the design to work together, but all the more joy when they did.
So, is it ok to say that I am proud of the result? Well, I am anyway.
With sterling silver wire, in several different gauges, I created this little bell-like flower with five petals. Four of the petals are closed tightly together, but one has opened slightly to reveal, hidden within, a faceted ruby rondelle from which the styles are hanging.
The flower is 4cm (1,6") long with an additional 1,5cm(0,6") for the styles and it hangs from a 52cm (20”) sterling silver rolo chain with a handcrafted clasp. And to really show all the details of the wire work, I oxidised the flower
These beautiful long dangle earrings feature lovely fancy twist 10mm smokey quartz beads that are wire wrapped with 5mm faceted labradorite rondelles and dangle beautifully on sterling silver lever backs. Finding are all sterling silver. Ear wire can be changed to french hooks or posts upon request at no additional charge. Earring length is approximately 2 1/2”.

Dainty drops of faceted peridot in bright grassy green are paired with tiny faceted Sleeping Beauty turquoise faceted rondelles. They meet at small flat sterling silver circles, which add interest and shimmer. The earrings are finished up with my handmade argentium sterling silver earwires. Peridot is the birthstone for August, while turquoise is one of the traditional birthstones of December. These are perfect for either, or the lady who likes bright colors!
These casual earrings are made up of three rough cut faceted rondelles of turquoise in a range of blue to blue green along with fine silver discs. I created the discs by hand using PMC (Precious Metal Clay). Each was imprinted with a leafy pattern prior to being kiln fired. They have been oxidized, as well as the sterling silver wire and hand-forged sterling earwires, and hand buffed for an organic feel. The rustic looking silver contrasts nicely with the brightly colored turquoise. These are perfect lightweight everyday earrings!
Om – a vibration – the sound of the universe, has been imprinted into pure recycled silver, for a pendant I created using Precious Metal Clay. It has been oxidized and hand buffed to a semi-matte finish, leaving only the impression dark. It is nestled between organically shaped sterling silver droplet beads, which are also sprinkled into the rest of the necklace made of faceted labradorite. The stones gleam and glint, showing off their flashes of blue. It closes with a sterling silver lobster claw clasp and sterling silver extender chain that ends with a singular rainbow moonstone – a sister stone of labradorite. This would be a beautiful gift to someone who practices yoga.

A brilliant mess of soft greens and blues make their home beneath a pure silver hammered circle that I created using Precious Metal Clay. Each wrapped in sterling silver, the gems include Swiss Blue topaz, sky blue topaz, aquamarine and three cuts of soft green prasiolite. The gems move independently and create a different arrangement with every move. The pendant drops down on a sterling silver satellite chain which closes with a sterling silver lobster claw clasp and two rainbow moonstones. I can't think of anything but cool blue water when I look at this necklace and all the calming thoughts that go along with the sea.

A sparkly embellishment and interesting shape take ho-hum hoops to a new level. Plump, purply blue rondelles of tanzanite capped by shiny sterling silver organic drops and wrapped on ball end head pins give the right amount of decoration to my hand-forged petal shaped sterling silver hoops.
