Week 2 beginning June 30, 2014 and ending July 3, 2014. The second week of camp saw a some rain and hot temperatures but this did not stop the campers from having a great time! Campers stayed cool by swimming in the many pools we have on campus! The WGDC CIT’s went to Laser Tag & Bowling. To celebrate the 4th of July, the whole camp participated in the "All Camp Cookout". Camp was closed on the 4th of July to commemorate the holiday.

Week 3 beginning July 8, 2013 and ending July 12, 2013.
The third week of camp was a busy one for all our campers! The middle camp boys went and saw the Trenton Thunder play, the senior boys went to laser tag, the CITs went to Dave and Busters, and a few groups went bowling. This week also including some visiting days for many groups. Also, our first Twilight parties of the season were this week! With the third week over we look forward to a great fourth week!

We’ve completed our fifth week of camp as the fun and excitement continues. The smiles on the children’s faces are really fantastic! Every camper has developed some new and wonderful friendships that we hope will continue throughout the years to come.
This week’s theme was “Ride ‘m Cowboy.” To celebrate this theme, the children created fabulous western photo frames to showcase their ability to ride their favorite pony “Billy.” In Ceramics, the Tadpoles and Minnows had fun painting their ceramic balloons.
Our woodcraft project was special pencil boxes decoupage with images from camp. On Thursday, The Willows joined in the fun of “Trick or Treat for Summer Sweets” by dressing up in their favorite Halloween costumes and parading around camp.

Welcome to another great summer at The Willows. This week started hot and humid and ended with beautiful sunny days. The children and counselors had a wonderful time getting to know one another. This week’s theme was “Marvelous Monsters.” In Arts and Crafts the Tadpoles and Minnows had lots of fun choosing legs, eyes, bodies and stickers to assemble and decorate their personalized monster door hangers. Along with this activity, the Willows had fun playing basketball, mini-golf and tennis. The week ended with a wonderful performance by Puppets Pizzazz. The children thoroughly enjoyed all the singing and humor as seen by the smiles on their faces.

Week 6 Week beginning August 8, 2011 and Week ending August 14, 20111 was an awesome week!
The 6th week of camp was filled with more of our campers favorite summer activities! To round out our week we had another popular event our All Camp Cookout! This event is always a hit with the campers! We hope everyone enjoyed their week!

Attended a fundraiser for a very good friend yesterday. My girl waited in line to get her face painted. She was donating money left and right, and I was so proud of her for understanding how important giving is. The peacock on her face called for an extreme crop. Perfect for Picture Inspiration.
Week 1 beginning June 24, 2013 and ending June 28, 2013 was the start to Willow Grove Day Camp's 59th season. During the first week of camp campers reunited with friends, enjoyed "Puppet Pizzazz", started clubs. Campers engaged in activities such as swimming, arts and crafts, baseball, soccer, skating, and so much more!

Week 2 beginning June 29, 2015 and ending July 3, 2015. The summer fun continued with the CITs going to Brunswick Zone. Triple Fun Day and our 4th of July “All Camp Cookout” was on July 2nd. Camp was closed July 3rd.

Week 2 beginning July 1, 2013 and ending July 5, 2013 was yet another great week at WGDC.
The second week of camp saw a some rain and hot temperatures but this did not stop the campers from having a great time! When it was not raining, campers stayed cool by swimming in the many pools we have on campus! WGDC welcomed the 'Science Explorers' for a fun and interesting assembly. To celebrate the 4th of July, the whole camp participated in the "All Camp Cookout". Camp was closed on the 4th of July to commemorate the holiday. Camp resumed on Friday with more summer fun activities such as rowing, arts and crafts, and so much more!

This week was the 4th of July! We closed the first week with a great barbecue on Friday! All the kids came dressed in their red, white, and blue! Camp was not in session on Monday in observance of the holiday but we made up for not being there!
The second week of camp was filled with some of the best summer activities kids dream about! The campers at Willow Grove Day Camp participated in activities such as: rock climbing, baseball, paddle boat riding, swimming, so much more!Some of our campers when on trips! The Senior boys when to a Camden Riversharks game and the Senior girls went bowling!

This week’s rainy weather did not dampen The Willows spirit as we continued to have tons of fun. The children have been able to experience all the activities offered including Pony Rides, Tennis and Boating/Fishing. This week’s theme was “Soaring for Independence.” Everyone had fun making red, white and blue picture frames and patriotic rockets. The Willows really enjoyed the camp cookout with hot dogs, pasta salad and yummy watermelon. In Ceramics the campers made their hand or foot prints. All ceramic projects will be sent home before the end of camp. Also, each Willows camper continues to master their techniques at swimming and can’t wait to perform their skills on visiting day. Everyone is having a terrific time, and each child has discovered his/her favorite activities.
