July 18, 2015 - Photos from our seventh annual Capay Tomato Festival - a celebration of all things tomato!
We look forward to this amazing event each year. Guests enjoyed a fun-filled evening with live music and dancing, voted for their favorite heirloom and cherry tomatoes, noshed on delicious local foods and beverages, and participated in the many family-friendly activities around the farm. All proceeds benefit the Kathleen Barsotti Non-Profit for Sustainable Agriculture (KBNP). The non-profit provides school supplies and backpacks to farmworkers' children in addition to giving an annual agriculture scholarship.

We went to the celebration at Royal Victoria park yesterday and due to the onslaught of rain headed quickly to the childrens tent. Wow, this place was amazing, they had so much going on for so many children. After visiting a few places Oliver decided he fancied a bit of face painting so he waited patiently in the queue for quite a while. Finally his turn came.
Now although none of the pictiures show him smiling he was absolutly over the moon with the work the lady did. The children have never had any face painting before so the transformation was incredible. we all loved it!
My mom took Rosemary to circus school while Joel and I spent a day cleaning out our old house. This was almost a month ago and she still raves about it.
Apparently this pictures was taken after some of the color and all of the glitter wore off
