One of the most impressive displays in my opinion is the one produced by the RAF F-35B. Showing off the VTOL capacity of the aircraft, the pilot just presents itself in front of the crowd without moving the aircraft an inch. After a few seconds of incredible hovering, the Lightning II slowly turns, accelerates and leaves the show...
