Making the types official UK airshow debut at Royal International Air Tattoo 2010, RAF Fairford.

The USAF Lockheed Martin F22A Raptor is quite simply fantastic to watch perform with breath-taking manoeuvres which leave you wondering how can something perform like this and with what seems such little effort. I looked forward to seeing this display after watching last years display at RIAT and it just gets better and better.

Nothing will get your heart pumping and patriotic juices flowing like seeing a F-22 Raptor thundering by you at 600 miles an hour!! This bad boy was the finale of Friday's 2 1/2 hour Air Show at EAA Oshkosh 2015, and predictably, the crowd went wild.

I processed this with my typical Apple Aperture editing, then ran it through a few filters at picmonkey.com... I hope you enjoy the result!

The insane physics defying Raptor display at this years RIAT... this aircraft should not be able to do half the things it does!

Back in 2013, the Avalon Airshow had the USAF F-22A’s in and doing a flying display... Here’s 09-173 with open bomb bays on display... I don’t normally do ‘fast jets’, others do them better... So I leave it to them really!
