The restauranter holds court chatting about how great her food is (there is another woman just out of eyeshot) while a customer stands at the doorway with her lunch - unposed candid street shot
Photographier, c’est retenir son souffle, quand toutes nos facultés convergent pour capter la réalité fuyante, c’est alors que la saisie d’une image est une grande joie physique et intellectuelle.
To photograph is to hold your breath, when all our faculties converge to capture fleeting reality, it is then that capturing an image is a great physical and intellectual joy.

► █░▓ Dogophobia officinalis - FIND THE CAT! No tree high enough for it when a Japanese akita gets within eyeshot. The cramped dead-end alley between the two cozy Frog Lake City cafe's can easily become a cat trap if the dog gets loose. Bit God put trees there to save cats from bear-like dogs.
Even with an optically stabilized cameraphone, it's no slouch to control a swooping challenged dog with one hand and compose a snapshot with this flat thing in the other. Not to lose its face in this world of pride and conceit, the cat remains with its head well behind a branch, literally letting down both the dog and the photographer.

"Squirrel" is derived from the Greek "skiouros," meaning "shadow-tailed." One of the more than 200 species of squirrel residing on our fine planet (they are native to all continents, with the exception of Australia), the Eastern Gray Squirrel (Sciurus carolinensis) is very much taken for granted. Gray squirrels can be found throughout North America. Look out nearly any window in nearly any setting, and changes are that there will be a squirrel within eyeshot. They are lightening fast. They swim like Michael Phelps. And they are hardy. Be they common, their are vital to our ecosystems, spreading plant and tree seeds and serving as food sources themselves for a huge range of predators. Our days would be sad and ... gray ... without you, squirrels!

異次元を見た様な気分になる。これは自分の想像力だとか、計算では思いつかないアングル。
When I finished taking a picture of the bee, the blue light and the interior of the bar reflected on the surface of my smartphone.
I felt like I've seen a different dimension. This is an angle that I can't create of in my imagination or calculation.
I like getting lost in rural America, as long as I have a full tank of gas. I discovered this place after exploring a tiny rural town in Illinois. It gave me the creeps the moment I set eyes on it and well after I last saw it in my rearview mirror. I parked, broke out the tripod and set up from this angle on the old, uneven sidewalk. I am sure someone at a house within eyeshot was watching my every move. I just had that feeling of being watched and it was just uncomfortable...which is rare for me because I am the type of person who could care less, without being rude or trespassing. The place still creeps me out looking at it.
