This image was taken for the “Smile on Saturday” themed group. This week’s theme is earrings.
Alright, alright, don’t laugh, but please smile… Yes, I know these earrings are a little garish, but I’m pretty sure that I’m not the only one with a colorful side. So, I am comfortable sharing a little bit of mine.
Fun clothes and accessories are reserved for very specific parties and events that I occasionally attend. You know, ones such as Halloween parties, speakeasy’s and masks, etc.
Things like this are not very practical for gardening and I’m pretty sure that my backyard beauties would not appreciate the flare.
As a young girl I always loved to play dress up and apparently, on occasion I still do. FYI, these earrings may or may not be the wildest set in my collection of flamboyant accessories. Don’t judge.
Have a sensational Saturday full of joy and lots of smiles. Happy snapping!
An amazing coat but who designed it and which artist was it inspired by? Wish I knew.

Mid-America Windmill Museum
It is fitting that Kendallville have a windmill museum, since Flint & Walling Company was a major windmill manufacturer. In addition, there were ten other well known manufacturers within a 100-mile radius as well as some twenty other lesser known companies. No other place in the country had such a concentration of windmill manufacturers. Since there were so many different windmill manufacturers within the tri-state area, it was decided to name the newest Northeastern Indiana cultural tourist attraction the “Mid-America Windmill Museum” which allowed the museum to encompass a greater area of interest and include the other windmill companies that existed in this area.
I somehow managed to grow wheat. I think I must have had a little help from a passing bird or something!

SOOC is the Topic for 19th March 2011 for ODC group. Sorry I'm a day behind. I thought the only way to make up for it was to share today's beautiful sunset with everyone.
Also known as the Golden Poison Frog or the Golden Poison Arrow Frog. Known to be the post poisonous animal on the planet. They have enough toxin at any one time to kill up to humans, or 2 African Bull Elephants. Best to stay away!
we bought this squeeze toy from one of the shops around Leura town centre. it's a bit of a challenge for our kid to squeeze it with enough force so both eyes would pop out. I reckon his grip strength will improve with this toy ;)
