A jaguar at the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle looks like he wants to invite me to dinner. I declined. #jaguar #DinnerInvitation #WoodlandParkZoo #ジャガ #Seattle

Spent two days in Brügge and found by chance the most beautiful staircase in my hotel... I took about 200 shots of it and am afraid I will bore you with lots of other versions ;-)

140 Broadway. The building accommodates the oldest and largest private bank in the United States.

Behind these windows money and politics could have tea...

The curve-billed thrasher can generally be found running rapidly from cover to cover or flying near ground level from bush to bush. However, this bird is not shy about being in the open. It is generally a forager on ground level but can be very aggressive in routing out potential competitors for food at feeders, such as the Inca dove and round-tailed ground squirrel. It will usually destroy any nest of cactus wrens. From Wikipedia

Smiles My Friends :-))

Going off the rails with this one. Back in 2010, I spent a few hours at the Kansas City Zoo trying out my new 500mm lens. When I saw this gorgeous Sumatran Tiger relaxing in some dappled sunlight I took a few shots. I've always liked this one.

Habakkuk 3:2 “LORD, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, LORD. Repeat them in our day, in our time make them known; in wrath remember mercy.”

“Be motivated like the falcon, hunt gloriously.

Be magnificent as the leopard, fight to win.

Spend less time with nightingales and peacocks.

One is all talk, the other only color.”

Sumatran Tigers are critically endangered. There are a number of locations around the world actively working together to breed these beautiful animals so they can survive.

Excerpt from perennials.com:

Standard Dwarf Bearded Iris have similar flowers to the more familiar Tall Bearded Iris, but on a dwarf plant that blooms much earlier. A good choice for the rock garden, or as an edging at the front of the border. Prefers a warm sunny site with good drainage. Easier to grow, and generally tougher than the Tall Bearded Irises. This selection has lovely two-tone flowers with petals of blue and white. Clumps may be easily divided every 3 to 4 years in August. Drought tolerant once established. Dwarf bearded Iris are also often described as I. pumila.

Another shot that nearly was my SSC shot for Saturday - Repetition !! The repetition being the many many " Diamond Dotz that make up the the picture - in this case a portrait of a pair of tigers and this is just a small section . View small to see this part of the overall picture , but view large to see how the whole thing is built up lots and lots of little blocks of various colours to create the scene . If you think about it it is just like a lot of pixels on a sensor !!

DIAMOND DOTZ® is an amazing new craft where stunning designs are created with tiny “Diamond” like facets.

Each of the Dotz are placed in the right position and of the right colour to match the design . One by one they are set in position until the design is complete - in this case 26,634 Dotz will be needed to finish the picture !!

Had to put this on ---
