Our Daily Challenge 5-11 April : Eye or Eyes.
I bought these years ago in G&T's and have used some in the sculpted heads in my garden. The are about the size of golf balls.
This is the same Dragonfly (Anisoptera sp.) but from the other side. The focus was a bit better on this eye, so I thought I see how much I could crop it.
Eyeballed by a Harris Hawk. A very intense and intimidating stare it is too!!
I was bought a full day Photography Experience by my son and daughter in law. Great day, the public show was truly awesome.
Here is a close up (100% scale from the image below) you can almost see my self portrait with our Deck pergola above.
You can't beat the detail from the 180 macro. I used Mirror lockup & a polarizer, .4sec @ f10
