selecting a file among many

Got damn sick of having to wade through gigs of mp3s to find the one file to listen. So I did a quick search for python mp3 file parsers and found pyid3lib

This hello world extraction script does the job and lets me extract the information I need via code. Now all I have to do is write a quick app that allows me to extract all the data, add it to some form of store allowing me to select by name, title, date etc, instead of manually searching.

Wouldn't mind a similiar lib for ogg files to extract data from my music collection.
