Dr. S. Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs, Government of India, visited Cape Town, South Africa from 1-3 June, 2023 to participate in the BRICS Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (BRICS FMM) and the Friends of BRICS Foreign Ministers’ Meeting on 01 and 02 June, 2023 respectively.
During his visit to Cape Town, the Consulate General of India in Cape Town organised an Indian Community Event on 3rd June, 2023 at the Samaj Centre, Rylands. During the event, Hon’ble Minister of External Affairs addressed and interacted with the Indian community where he spoke at length about 30 years of Diplomatic relations with South Africa, 15 years journey of BRICS and the achievements made by the Government in the past nine years.
