Dexter’s love is tested in the next stage of the puppy’s relationship when an outside force tries to break them apart. In the real world, this outside force could be characterized as the man’s job, another woman, money issues, or even children. In the case of the puppies, the outside force is a hand with red nail polish that tries to take Dexter away from his love. The girl is now the one out of focus as she becomes less important in Dexter’s life and as she cannot even communicate with him due to the fence between them.
The External Manisfestation series is about the person who you are being explored on the outside of your skin. Rather then worrying about your culture or what colour skin you are just express the patterns and symbols that represent you.
