love the expressions in this photo. the little man loves to be dressed like a gentleman and the little lady is full of love.
On Valentines Day we went to Oriental Expressions in Wollongong and saw a sign at the door which advertised their upcoming Chinese New Year Lion Dance on February 18th. We went back and enjoyed a platter of chinese new year entree dishes with a fantastic lion dance and martial arts exhibition by Southern Crane Martial Arts (Beaton Park, Gwnneville based). Here are but a few of the many photos taken with my new Fujifilm Finepix s9600 (s9100 in the USA) camera which I purchased on February 16th.

.. as i was people watching during the wedding.. (my hdv camera decided to play up, and in a way that was a blessing... more opportunity to experience the event without squinting through a lense or at an lcd screen...)
Out of my usual nature images here's one I love for the expressions. You can't plan these things. Taken last August (2006) at my son's 18th birthday party. Yes, that middle cutie is a little ham!

I made these ATCs for the artistic expressions ATC swap on swapbot. I'm really pleased with them. I used playing cards as the base, the background is taken from a magazine published around 1905.
Annual Function-III (Abhivyakti, The Expression) of Him Academy Public School Vikas Nagar for classes 2nd, 5th, 7th and 11th was celebrated with great enthusiasm on Sunday, October 13, 2019. Mr. Hitesh Lakhanpal, Deputy Superintendant of Police (DSP) Hamirpur, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. In special guests Er. Sanjeev Premi, Group Captain Abhishek Acharya, Mrs. Kamlesh and Mrs. Ramna Verma also graced the occasion with their promising presence. Event unfolded with ceremonial lightening the lamp by the honorable Chief Guest along with worthy school management and special guest of the day. It was further followed by Maa Sarswati Vandna, School Song, annual report, prize distribution and many more mesmerizing performances by the students. Buddha Skit-Buddha and Beggar , Tribute to Teachers and UV Act were highly admired by the audience. Honorable Chief Guest motivated the students and audience with his highly inspirational & encouraging speech. The function concluded with National Anthem.
