Central Railway Loco Workshop, Parel (Parel) made Vatva (VTA) WDM-3D # 11539 ready with MAS bound, Ahmedabad - Chennai Central, 19420 Chennai Express at Ahmedabad Junction. This train has complicated rake sharing with Azimabad Express and Janmabhoomi Express wherein coaches are being added for these two trains and deducted for Ahmedabad Chennai Express. Train departed 10 mins late from ADI at 9:50 AM as late clearance given by Hisar-Bandra Superfast Express. However we reached bang on time 4:50 PM at Vasai, i.e. 7 hours with average running speed of 63.64 Kmph. This train has too much of slack in between Vasai and Chennai.
West Coast Railways class 33 no. 33029 and class 31 no. 31128 pass Copmanthorpe on 16th September 2021 with 1Z27, the 'Scarborough Spa Express' returning from the coast to Carnforth.

In April 2018, D J Thomas Coaches of Neath purchased the business of Express Motors of Kenfig Hill, which was established in 1920. Whilst the acquisition did not include the depot and any vehicles, a separate identity has been retained with a small number of D J Thomas vehicles receiving a bespoke livery. Until recently, a separate PSV Operator Licence was also maintained.
One of three current Express Motors-liveried vehicles is Plaxton Leopard-bodied Volvo B9R K19 DJT, which was new to a Scottish operator as SS63 PCH and was purchased in 2021. She dates from Autumn 2013 and is an original Leopard ahead of the bodywork being switched to the B8R chassis.
Usually allocated to a Neath Port Talbot CC school contract, this shot from May 2026 shows her parked on Conway Road in the Penlan area of Swansea.
Express Motors SH51MHO is an Optare Solo M920. Seen in Caernarfon, SH51MHO was new to First Glasgow as their MS7.
