Thank you all for your visits and comments, and especially for the help!
I'm thinking of using this one in a competition at the local camera club... because now I think that they would mark the other version down for the bright spot... so you've all helped!! Thank you! :-)
Thanks so much to everyone for the well wishes on Explore. The volume of the response prevented me from replying individually but it is very appreciated. <3 Bec

The Story
This mother and cub (child) was passing by while we was doing some climatic research in the Fram Straight. I think the scene was a bit interesting with the birds in the background. The colors up here is really special. The Polar Bear is the biggest of all bears. This day we saw 19 of them. This mother and cub was close to a big male bear. That is unusual to see. The male Polar Bear is known of killing the cubs so he can get the mother interested in him. But nothing happened, not as long as we was there.

Art Quote of the Day
Every portrait that is painted with feeling is a portrait of the artist, not of the sitter.
Oscar Wilde mentioned and I nodded:)

Just dropping in to say hello and to wish everyone a wonderful Friday and upcoming weekend. Also I want to thank you all for being such great friends to me and to tell you that I appreciate all the prayers and well wishes. Out for 'The Lakeland Explorer' where should we go? Slindon? No. Chorlton? No, we went there last weekend. Acton Bridge? No. Winwick? No. Red Bank? Yes. We got there about a minute before 68020 and 68004 passed with 4S43. Then I went for a shot of 70002 working 4M27. Whilst I was heading back to the shot for the tour which wasn't due for 10 minutes I heard it! 68021 passes Red Bank, 8 early, working the Taunton - Carlisle, Pathfinder charter 16/7/16

There's something in the melodies
That the Christmas season brings
Joy and laughter in the air

Love this.
And I love Froot Loops.
Last night my parents went out and my brother and I were both home sick. My parents were gone out for several hours, so Matthew and I spent out time eating the rest of the Halloween candy in our house, watching The Notebook and having screaming contests =]
We do these things when we bond =]
