Block 25 on the Women's camp at Auschwitz II - Birkenau often referred to as "The Block of Death" A stone walled construction with the wooden slatted bunks. Often sleeping 7 to a bunk this was used as a temporary housing facility for women selected to go to the gas chambers whilst awaiting transport. Walking the corridors has a very sombre feeling to it, and seeing the conditions people "lived" their final days and hours in was heart wrenching.

Open cooking on a Pierogi stand at the Christmas market in onee of the old squares in Gdansk.

An interesting sculpture in the south-western corner of the Main Market Square. Be sure to get there early if you want to capture a photo like this as any other time you will have peoples faces appearing in the eye holes!

Just Above Ceiling Height

Looking barely down on a ceiling holding lamps in suspension is a perspective that gives a different view. Closing time leaves mostly darkness but they hadn't turned out these lights. The array forms a pattern that joins a ceiling sporting patterns of its own. Splashes of light illuminate just enough to show off details. Spots of other colors offer punctuation - a bit of added interest.

It's a diptych in appearance, even though it's been done in a single frame - either side could stand alone.

Westminster Abbey on a very cloudy and chilly morning in November

A new image from my trek along the Bellarine and Great Ocean Road.

This image is one of the iconic Sirens Boathouse and Kiosk, which stands at the start of the pier at St Leonards, on the Bellarine Peninsula. Taken just before sunset, the weather wasn’t working in my favour as it was a stormy type of day, however the sky still tried its best and offered a small range of tones.

A casual squirrel in St James Park whilst walking along The Mall just wandering around in the sun and Autumn leaves.

A couple of non-traditional black phone boxes in the Covent garden area of London at the precise moment a passerby looks in but out of one of them.

Good Morning Thursday!

Sometimes the world just tells you to pause. This morning, I stepped outside and saw light creeping over the horizon like it was unveiling a hidden masterpiece. The wind whispered through the trees, and the sky blushed with pastel warmth.

Nature reminds us: even slow starts are powerful. The journey doesn't always need a sprint. Sometimes all it takes is standing still, breathing in, and feeling grateful. ️🌅

Photography is more than a lens—it’s a way to connect with these moments that slip through the cracks of daily life. Every frame I shoot is a reminder that the world wants to be seen.

Walking around Kazimierz in Krakow there is some defiant street art around each corner. A symbol of the character of the locals and the willingness to stand for what they believe in.

Whilst on a day out a few years ago playing with my Canon 1000D and some street photography I came across this window in a secluded area. An interesting grid lined glass with what appears to be a gunshot hole through it.

I wanted to go there to capture the milky way, but wasn't able to go to the vantage point facing south. So i just took some star shots of the Sylvensteinspeicher in Germany. Shot on A7III with the Sigma 35mm Art. It’s a pano of 5 shots.
