Le Caracara huppé ou Caracara à crête (Caracara plancus) est une espèce de rapaces de grande taille de la famille des falconidés, qui réside dans toute l'Amérique du Sud et centrale. On le trouve dans toute l'Amérique du Sud et centrale, depuis la Terre de Feu, dans le parc national Tierra de Fuego et la réserve naturelle de l'île des États, jusque au nord du Mexique.
On retrouve principalement le caracara huppé dans les espaces ouverts, comme les prairies, les collines, les steppes ou les bords des rivières. Il se nourrit fréquemment d'animaux blessés ou tués par le trafic routier et peut donc fréquemment se rapprocher des routes. Il s'habitue très bien aux milieux périurbains, étant capable de tirer parti des espaces ouverts et des sources de nourriture liées aux humains (notamment les déchets.

Les Jardins de Quatre Vents / Les Quatre Vents Gardens
Cabot says he is a firm believer that Japanese gardens are best situated around a temple in Japan. He wanted to have an authentic Japanese structure at Les Quatre Vents, however, “in a setting that was peaceful and Asiatic in spirit.” It took him 10 years to achieve that. The pavilion was specially made in Japan over two years and a master carpenter constructed it on site during the following three summers. In a bit of an understatement Cabot says that “patience is an important attribute for those who choose to make new gardens”.

Ce matin j'ai vécu un moment de pure magie !
Je photographiais quelques perles de rosée pendant que le soleil pointait le bout de son nez.
Et là, j'entends frémir le doux son des ailes d'une fée...
Demoiselle agrion se pose juste devant moi, m'offrant un moment d'émotion inoubliable dans la splendeur dorée de l'aurore !

Bellissima mostra fotografica in questa piazza di Otranto, immagini in B&w, quelle belle di un tempo, con la grana,,,,
scattate con la pellicola.
La luce vera si cerca, e non la si crea con artifici, questa è la differenza nel fare fotografia.
E' inutile comprare macchine fotografiche costosissime se poi non c'è occhio per vedere i "dettagli".

Tutti pensano che basta comprare una bella macchina fotografica, con tanti megapixel per fare delle belle foto, ma non è cosi....., tutto questo spesso non basta.
Occorre trovare la luce giusta...
Siamo talmente sopraffatti da cattive elaborazioni "su Flickr, che non riusciamo più a distinguere la realtà delle cose.
Vi ringrazio per le richieste di "contatto" che arrivano continuamente, ma non posso aggiungerne molte,
non ho molto tempo da dedicare a Flickr, e non la ritengo una tappa fondamentale della mia vita.
