Raindrops falling in slow motion...
They danced with such a rhythm.
They moved with such a grace,
as though meditating in sanctum,
They filled the airspace.
They performed their ethereal ballet,
to the winds' orchestrated cadence.
With nature's unique cachet,
enrapturing me in transience.
Willing time, to standstill a moment,
shivering, I watch them waft around me.
Lost listening to their mordents,
unconsciously pulling close my chamois.
Devouring, with my eyes for maws,
Oh! what a magical sight that was!

This was taken while I was on vacation in Orlando, Florida!
This Black Vulture was drying out just after getting soaked in the rain! Black Vultures were very common in the Orlando, Florida area! We get Turkey Vultures up here in Michigan!
Spectral Observer
The Spectral Observer is a light version of the 6933 - Spectral Starguider. This smaller vehicle is used in the Advanced Outposts. Its smaller size allows it to be a versatile ground and aerial vehicle while maintaining all the functionalities of its big brother. This single pilot vehicle is usually used in pairs because one of the Spectral Observers can lift-off and provide air support to the unit on the ground.
Thank you for looking at my photo and for all of the lovely comments and faves. I really appreciate it :)

Windy conditions so I chose a high ISO to give a fast shutter speed. The result ws inevitably grainy but not distractingly so.

A dark SP turned out in the center drop; you can see the blue sky behind me and a white cloud on my right.
When certain groups land in a location previously unknown to them, they often claim to have discovered it , ignoring the people who have lived there for generations. Ethnocentrism has historically raised its ugly head many times. End of sermon.
The original photo was taken on one of Florida's barrier islands, Fort Meyers Beach. Photoleap was used to create this image.
Rainbow Explorer was a spacecraft launched from Earth. It was piloted by Marlena Glenn; however, the space probe was caught up in a Cosmic Storm and was forced to land on Eternia.
