This nice field of anemones was in full bloom mid of April. It is a little bit difficult to catch them in best light due to their occurrence in the woods.

Golden hour magic over Kuching, where the Sarawak River meets city lights and Borneo skies 🇲🇾

These are the front doors of the Convent of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and its church in Lisbon, Portugal which is a former Catholic convent located in the civil parish of Santa Maria Maior.

The medieval convent was ruined during the sequence of the 1755 Lisbon earthquake, and the destroyed Gothic Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel on the southern facade of the convent is the main trace of the great earthquake still visible in the old city.

At the time of the earthquake, it was the largest church in Lisbon, but today the roofless nave open to the sky is all that remains of the arches and rubble that caved in on the congregation as they were attending mass.

Republik Dagestan, Russland

if you look closely you can see the people climbing around up there trying to get a shot, they look like little ants lol

The Karnaphuli River recently transformed into a vibrant stage for Chattogram’s historic 'Sampan Baich' (Sampan boat race), a cornerstone of local folk heritage. The river swelled with a festive spirit as thousands of spectators lined the banks and crowded onto boats to witness the rhythmic clash of oars against the tide. Marked by rows of traditional sampans and the cheers of enthusiastic crowds, highlights a deep-rooted connection between the river and the people of the port city. Despite the rise of modern engine boats, this traditional race remains a powerful symbol of Chattogram’s identity, reminding everyone of the need to preserve both the river’s health and this centuries-old cultural legacy.
