Kerameikos Archaeological Museum.
Winged marble sphinx from the 6th century BC.
Found buried near the Sacred Door in 2002, the votive statue or funerary sculpture from the archaic period would have crowned a tomb stele.
Serving as a burial site as early as the 12th century BC, the Kerameikos, located in the ancient potter's quarter, contains part of the ancient city wall and the Dipylon, the main gate of ancient Athens at the crossroads of the Sacred Way and the Panathenaic. It served as a burial place for the city's richest and most illustrious citizens.

DAY 9
Eh... I dont know what to write..
I was thinking of doing videos for some of my 365 but my camera sucks with videos... Idk...
Let meh know whatcha' think..
But other then not knowing what to write today has been pretty good. A lazy cold day but good :].
My ears hurt :[ I gauged them to a size 2 about a year ago and took them out about 5 months ago so that they would shrink back down so I could get jobs and such.... They are now about.. eh.. maybe a 10? So thats good. But they still look pretty big compared to just a normal peircing hole. Any way. I got these cute butterfly earings from my grandma for christmas and I love them but when ever I wear them they kill my ears..
So I dont have them in right now but Im scared that the holes are going to close all together because they are like.. open wounds O_O
Anyway.. Thats my problem for the day. Let my ears close or let them hurt |: /
Grr.
Wow that turned out to be more than I thought... Lol :]

The afternoon started bright and sunny with a chance of showers. I was exploring the overlook of Holman Spring Canyon when that chance rather quickly materialized, much to my delight. Showing up sometimes pays off.
Love the meerkats--- dirty noses and all :)

Built in 1875, Sassoon docks is one of the oldest in India. It is one of the few docks open to the public. The fishing boats arrive in the morning and the dock bursts with colour and action.
2020 was a difficult and strange year for most of us and much worse for others. The world changed drastically causing pain and loss for so many but we've had to adapt, learning a new way of living. Hope seems to lie around the corner in this new year with vaccines giving chance of a return to more normal times. Good luck to all of you, I hope 2021 brings you good health, happiness and some level of luck, for your families and friends too. Happy New Year!
