Sienne - 12h - le soleil donne son maximum pour sécher le linge. J'aimerais aussi remercier ma femme qui m'a suggéré l'idée de cette photo.

A unique kind of spring exists at Mammoth Hot Springs, located in the northwest section of the park. Hot water ascends through ancient limestone deposits. The result is a landscape of terraces sculpted by travertine limestone.

At Mammoth Hot Springs, Yellowstone visitors will enjoy views of travertine limestone terraces. Flowing waters spill over the colorfully streaked Minerva Terraces, resulting in a gentle waterfall appearance.

Hot gases are stored underneath the surface. Water seeps down into the ground and meets with these gases. Some of the gases are readily dissolved in the hot water to form an acid solution. This hot and acidic solution dissolves great quantities of limestone as it works up through the rock to the surface. Once exposed to the air, some of the carbon dioxide escapes from the solution. As this happens, limestone no longer remains in solution and it is deposited, resulting in the terraces.

A nice hike after a rain. Several hours after this image the rains finally delivered again. I met up with a young photographer that was using an iphone for some images. He was thinking about getting an slr which was for sure recommended. Some of those iphone images looked great I think that some people have a good eye for compositions it will make any camera look good. Glad to see other people out shooting these amazing skies in Sacramento. This is a single raw image edited in Lightroom. This location is along the American River in Sacramento, CA.

I've been meaning to upload this all week but I just seem to have had one thing after another to do and before you know it Friday arrives (that's not a bad thing though)!

This was taken a little while ago…….. in-fact it’s almost from the archives :-)

I didn’t post it originally because the horizon that I suffered from in first strike was in line with the crest of the collision and was hugely distracting!

My photoshop skills aren’t the best and it’s taken a good few hours to edit out the line.

I’ve change my setup now so I shouldn’t suffer with the horizon issue now, and I’m also in the middle of re-designing my water drop rig which given past experience will take a good few months lol!

There’s some more water drop stuff to follow over the next couple of weeks……… I just need to get around to sorting through the hard drive and digging them out.

Kayakers had fun exploring the inlets on Lake Argyle. The Friends of Argyle sponsored lake education activities with fishing, kayaking, and pontoon boat rides during the lake event in September. Hot dogs and fishing poles were also provided.

I went to the New Orleans (Louisiana)'s aquarium yesterday. It was pretty much amazing, surely better than I had thought.

The ocean's creatures were truly beautiful that stopped my heart and made me just want to tear. Wish people could know how precious those little things are.

You should expect more pictures to come heheh <3

A scene from Botswana.

It was playing in the mud/water, or may be it waking a bath. It tried to 'hide' as our boat approached. I thought that was very cute =)
