If you remember my photo of a chipmunk, I promised you some backstage photos. This funny fellow checked our bags for food and had some snacks. When we returned to our photo shooting this chipmunk decided to show Hanna some posing tips:)
We will leave Moraine for Bow Lake, Peyto Lake, Icefields Parkway, Saskatchewan Crossing River and other numerous Banff, Jasper, Yoho National Parks' lakes. But as a Moraine Lake flashbacks I will post some more Hanna's photos. Stay tuned:)

It was quite the adventure getting this photo. It was about 2 in the morning and there had just been a warning of a bear sighting near where we were shooting. To keep safe and continue to take advantage of the beautiful night, we opened up the sun roof in our SUV and mounted our tripod up there. Luckily the bear didn't turn up and we still managed to finish our shoot.

We hopped in the car and left the big city really early this morning to get out into the park and wait for the sun to rise. The skies looked like they weren't going to cooperate, and we even considered moving on to another location. Fortunately, we waited it out, as we did get some really nice light for at least a few minutes!
Revisited a place from my youth today. We spent many a weekend at Mosquito Creek with my dad fishing from this very spot. He never caught much, but it was always a favourite spot. Just being in the presence of such beauty was probably enough. I miss you dad, and I'll always treasure the places we travelled together.

Stopped in at Lundbreck Falls and caught it in one of those in-between moments.
Winter holding on, water pushing through, everything feeling a little heavier than usual.
The kind of place that doesn’t need perfect conditions to feel like something. Especially after that freak winter to spring storm we just had a few days ago. Everything felt louder, wilder… and the falls just kept doing what they do.
