My second time vacationing to Florida, and this time it was a far better photographic experience. Visited a lot of landmarks and attractions.
My very first stroll on a wildlife expedition, nothing extensive, just a walk around the resorts nooks and crannies. I absolutely loved the atmosphere of looking beyond my field of vision for the shot.
Small cove at Houghton Bay, Wellington south coast. The combination of tide-level and size of the rocks caused this wave to "explode" like fireworks! See detail.
Pinyon pines can "explode" into flames (black mushroom cloud lower right) when they reach a high enough temperature.

I spent a week with a wonderful, talented group of people filming a documentary on the Northern Lights for NHK, the Japanese public television network. We were able to make it only as far north as the Arctic Circle, and though we had a uniformly great time, we struggled with deep cold, powerful blizzards and a generally shy and quiet Aurora, until here ... around 2 AM on the morning of March 1, we were rewarded far beyond anyone's expectations.
This was the beginning of a truly astonishing Auroral storm ...

Taken before sunrise on the coast of Alentejo, Portugal.
The weather conditions were completely unstable during these days. Every day brought a new surprise when day broke.

Nature's power is always at work and a great place to watch tidal forces is near Lighthouse Point in Monterey Bay. This swell is just a normal day but occurs where the sea begins to flow into the bay a rocky point. On storm days collisions like this can be three times bigger and surf watchers like me have to stand far back or the ocean will grab you and send you to Davey Jones Locker. These tidal forces shape and sculpt the coast, cause natural cliff collapses and mariners beware to sail with caution especially on foggy days. A wild and wonderful place to see. On calm days scuba divers enter and kayaks bob about as the sea otters float in the sea weed kelp forest. A salt water sanctuary of marine life biodiversity.

Sunday was the perfect day for a fall walk to see all the trees exploding with autumn colours. Brampton’s heart lake conservation area was completely engulfed in glorious colour.
The south entrance to the park was ablaze with colour of the red maple leaves.

it was really nice day with great sun and little clouds but on the spur of the moment i raised my head to the sky and saw this amazing view of a small storm of rain and i quickly took out the camera from the case and took the shot and ran back to the hotel.

The photo was taken from a fast shutter speed jet. The human eye, it looks pretty smooth. Fast shutter speed makes it look like an explosion
