What happens when two pink hearts explode... A shot of the firework display for the celebrations of St. Juan in Estartit, Spain. This reminds me of a big jelly fish. Please view in full size for the best effect.
This was shot in the Malmok area of Aruba right after a storm.

It's difficult to find wildflowers in late summer, but during one of my last walks in the woods, I found this star-shaped thistles releasing seeds while still keeping their yellow colour. The species is Carlina hispanica.
Since then, it has rained quite a bit and I think some autumn flowers may already be blooming. I need them if I want to finish this project, there are only 3 months left, and they aren't exactly known for flower abundance in the Northern Hemisphere. But I think it's still possible.

Say hello to Tacocat, MagicalEnchilada, and HairyPotatoCat! These are all wonderfully crazy characters from the most backed Kickstarter campaign ever, a card game called Exploding Kittens. It honestly looks super fun, and if you haven't already, you should order a copy or two.
This is my attempt at unlocking some 'achievements', to hopefully help hit the last stretch goal!
This is such a simple shot, but the conditions haven't been there to capture this for months! Finally lucked out last night. I was playing in the front yard with the boys when I noticed some clouds finally appearing in the sky near sunset. Excused myself for a few minutes to grab this shot. There's something to be said for living 7 minutes from the beach...

Another trip to the addictive location, Padley Gorge in Derbyshire with Neil Rushby here patiently posing and trying out a new colour combination. Shot in one photographic exposure with a camera rotation tool which is also still addictive....
Today's Photo is a nice shot of Illuminations from Japan. I decided to only do some light editing on this one due to the fact that I wanted to just focus on the firework itself. Please enjoy.
An afternoon/evening with Jenn from the Canon Collective, learning about panning & movement, using the city streets & sights as subjects
The Sydney Harbour Bridge. No... really... it is!
Calmness descends on Bass Lake as the sunset explodes in the skies above. The slight sent of pine trees and a campfire burning in the distance combined with the glorious sunset to create one of those moods you all know from those days camping beside a lake or high in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Itâs not something someone can explain to you, but hopefully itâs one that sparks a memory for you. There still is nothing quite like a night in the forest by a campfire with the glow in the sky as a memorable day comes to an end.

Ive been feeling the butterflies
Yeah, and already the tension's getting to me
We're waiting in anticipation
For some official indication
'Cause it's another big occasion
And there won't be no relaxation - Im ready to go
And Im ready to explode...
Slade.
This was one of the most colorful sunsets I have ever seen. The dark clouds threatend to start a short shower soon, but fortunately it kept dry.
It's interesting, all sunsets that I've seen here had a beautiful red sky, but this time I too was at the right location to get also a good composition. Well, the pier in Fort Myers Beach may be one of the most photographed locations here, but with that sunset, I had to make it.
