This isn't the life I Expected - Jonny Brook
Jonny is eye catchingly disabled as a human, but thankfully, he's award winningly hilarious about the madness of his life, and the madly defective legs he has to live on, as a Sat Down Stand Up.
He started life as a normal human, but as his degenerative condition has kicked in, his ability to tell the funniest stories about his adventures in life, with his 'PoundLand Action Man' legs, has thankfully made laughter of the madness of his life.
Jonny will take you on mad journeys, through so many of the moments he's experienced in this journey to becoming one of those people the seats at the front of the bus are reserved for. Failed chats with GP's, Specialists, Surgeons, His Family, Empathetic Homeless Men, Caring Sex Workers, Semi Naked Pensioners, and so so so much more.................

Premier David Eby visits the Blackwater Mine in central British Columbia, on May 30, 2025.
The Blackwater Mine is a major open-pit gold and silver mining project under construction in central British Columbia, expected to be one of Canada’s most significant low-carbon mining operation and with strong Indigenous partnerships.
The event was what you’d expect: A giant yard sales with almost every possible item for sale.
At several points during the day, motorists attempting to enter the park were stacked up all the way to Highway 31. Nonetheless, traffic was well behaved with no incidents. Everything ran smoothly as thousands of people made their way into the park throughout the day.
The Spring Yard Sale originally came about to help both city and county residents who wished to have garage and yard sales of their own, but for a variety of reasons, could not.
Marketing Director of Cullman County Parks Sara Teichmiller explained it this way:
“Inside the city limits, people have to apply for a permit hold to these sales on their own property. It is a hassle for people to do that. Out in the county, attracting foot traffic into a personal sales event is next to impossible. So … we decide to eliminate all those challenges and create a safe, permit-free, well-marketed Yard Sale event that everyone – vendors and citizens alike – can attend.”

I am expecting something to happen.
You can call it a hope, a wish, an expectation.
Be more specifically, I think...
I am expecting someone.
The right one to come.

Wasn;t expecting this Church to be so nice, I just assumed that because of its proximity to Mildenhall it would be the same sort of place as their main church, wrong! It started to very gently rain as I got out of the car, there is something magical about taking pictures in the rain on a mild spring day, especially if you are under an umbrella, its the pit a pat.
This was the first church of the day, I have to drive an hour now to get to the closest church to me in Woodbridge (I do still have several closer but I am saving them for later in the year, got some time off in July!!
My African violet plant was blooming surprisingly! I wasn't expecting this to bloom since there was no natural light in here, only artificial lighting! This was at Syc02 (Cisco warehouse) in Milpitas, CA. Anyway, happy indoor gardening! (Tuesday, March 1, 2022)
*African violets are small houseplants that produce clusters of white, blue, or purple flowers over fuzzy leaves. As their name suggests, African violets are native to East Africa, stemming from the tropical rainforests of Tanzania and Kenya. In 1892, German colonial officer Walter von Saint Paul-Illaire identified these plants and sent seeds back to Germany. The genus came to be called Saintpaulia, though the plants have recently been re-categorized into a different genus, Streptocarpus. Despite their common name, they are not a type of violet, but they do produce vivid, violet-colored flowers.
