The Great Blue Heron is the only local bird that I found which is more exotic than its counterpart in Africa. Way to represent Great Blue Heron that is quite a feat, because even the Starlings in Africa are exotic.
Having been introduced from Asia in the mid-1700s, the Mimosa tree also called silk tree (Albizia julibrissin), is beautiful and exotic. It has now made itself at home throughout North Carolina and the entire southeast and like all invasive non native trees it's thriving at the expense of native trees. They are so dramatic and beautiful like this specimen at Robinwood Lake that it's hard not to love them. ^_^

I know there are mixed feelings about AI-generated art among photographers, but I wanted to explore tools like DALL-E, MidJourney, and Firefly to see what they could do.
Ended up creating about 40-50 images and I will share many of them here.
