Rural sunset scenery about 15-20 minutes' drive south of Fort Macleod, Alberta. This section of Hwy 810 ("Blue Trail") is one of my favourite photo-taking spots in Alberta - it just never disappoints!

Burlington Northern EMD SD60M No. 9235 leads an eastbound BNSF coal train out of 3,334-foot Tunnel 1 just west of Guernsey, Wyoming, on July 5, 1999.
Exit Glacier in the Kenai Fjords National Park, Alaska, seen from the road leading to the visitors center. In the forground is the braided river holding the meltwater from the glacier.

British Railways Express Blue liveried, Gresley designed LNER 'A4' 4-6-2 no.60007 ‘Sir Nigel Gresley’ exits the tunnel at Yarwell as runs up to the Halt with the 14:00 Wansford-Yarwell Junction.
GWR No7820 Dinmore Manor and No 6023 King Edward ll exit Greet tunnel before arriving at Winchcombe station on the Gloucester and Warwickshire Railway.
Snow geese depart the safe haven of Bosque del Apache for a day of feeding in the fields to the north. The warm rays of the rising sun illuminate the slopes of the Chupadero Mountains in the background.
Today's full moon rise was scheduled to be at a 125º heading when at 2º altitude. I looked up on the map where a nearby freeway would line up in the same direction, and identified US Highway 101 near Menlo Park and Palo Alto, California. I headed to a footbridge in Menlo Park, and waited for the moon to rise.
I processed a balanced and a realistic HDR photo from two RAW exposures, blended them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.
