A stop motion animation project done for my Intro to Digital Design 2405 class. Produced by Brandon Gorthy. Done completely in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premier Pro only. Project was over existentialism. "Are you a man who dreams of being a butterfly, or a butterfly who dreams of being a man?"

This is one of the counter-posters the Atheist Society has been putting up to challenge the Christian Union's mission week, entitled "Free". I went to another of their talks today, and as usual it was very interesting, although also very frustrating to hear the constant misunderstandings of, among other things, atheism, nihilism, existentialism and Pascal's Wager.

In the afternoon we screened the third episode of LOST series five on the big screen. This evening I am off to see "Slumdog Millionaire", which I am really looking forward to!

Italian artist Corrado Gai at his London show Surregailism. Hay Hill Gallery, 5a Cork Street, Mayfair.

The word Surregailism was coined by Corrado himself. It reflects the influences of Surrealism, Expressionism, social Realism and Existentialism in his highly imaginative art.

There are moments when,

When I know it and

The world revolves around us,

And we’re keeping it,

Keep it all going,

This delicate balance,

Vulnerable all knowing

Probably one of the best photographs I've shot, in my opinion. Color correction was the only editing.

Our best photos from the 2019 Denver Film Festival. Here: "Escape from Godot." Escape-room antics meet iconic existentialism in this absurd, theatrical, interactive play puzzle. The show brings audiences into the middle of a production of "Waiting for Godot" – you know, the important one about our meaningless trudge from cradle and to grave. And everything is going wrong. You have 60 minutes unravel the clues and set the play straight again. This fun group activity allows for eight people at a time. All photos by John Moore for the DCPA NewsCenter.

What is this life if, full of care, We have no time to stand and stare. No time to stand beneath the boughs, And stare as long as sheep or cows. No time to see, when woods we pass, Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass. No time to see, in broad daylight, Streams full of stars, like skies at night. No time to turn at Beauty's glance, And watch her feet, how they can dance. No time to wait till her mouth can Enrich that smile her eyes began. A poor life this is if, full of care, We have no time to stand and stare. Leisure by William Henry Davies. For more, follow The Existentialist on Facebook. Inspired by Arthur Rimbaud:

"It began as an investigation. I turned silences and nights into words. What was unutterable, I wrote down. I made the whirling world stand still."

(21 June 1905 – 15 April 1980) was a French philosopher, playwright, novelist, screenwriter, political activist, biographer, and literary critic. He was one of the key figures in the philosophy of existentialism, and one of the leading figures in 20th-century French philosophy and Marxism.

His work has also influenced sociology, critical theory, post-colonial theory, and literary studies, and continues to influence these disciplines. Sartre has also been noted for his open relationship with the prominent feminist theorist Simone de Beauvoir.

He was awarded the 1964 Nobel Prize in Literature and refused it, saying that he always declined official honors and that "a writer should not allow himself to be turned into an institution".

Carla Speed McNeil does not feel she needs to justify any further.

Existentialism in Paris

This is me in front of the Notre Dame Cathedral with my pigeon friends! I had been wanting to hold a pigeon the entire trip and when I saw my opportunity, I took it! A local gave me food for them and they didn't hesitate. I was in heaven! (Hence why I look so incredibly happy)
