A penmanship copybook from the 1700s most likely. Based upon the unlined paper, the lettering and penmanship style, and the puritanical text, it appears to be at least this old.

These ladies are probably members of the Women's Athletic Association. In order to be a member of the W. A. A., they had to have earned "one hundred points by participation in athletic events," according to the 1931 Periscope. Further prizes for points earned included a letter (300 points), a lightweight sweater (700 points), and a heavyweight sweater (1000 points). Note the training school children on the see-saws in the background. This photograph is featured in the 1931 year book as part of a two-page collage of "Limbering Exercises".

It's great having Michael back in the gym for the summer. He is avg 320 on his drives and it is fun to see the strength in the gym transfer to the golf course.
This was always a classic! Each morning - well at various times throughout the day - the kids would have to perform exercises to keep them occupied I suppose. It wasnt a bad idea actually!!
An active brain can certainly help in improving memory by strengthening the connections between neural impulses in brain.
