The Odeon of Herodes Atticus is a stone Roman theatre structure located on the southwest slope of the Acropolis of Athens, Greece. The building was completed in 161 AD and then renovated in 1950.

The Skogafoss Waterfall on the south coast of Iceland is without a doubt my favourite that I have visited. Legend has it that the Viking Settler Thrasi at Skógar in around 900 hid a chest of gold and treasures behind the waterfall. Many have tried but the closest successor to recovering the chest is said to have been a young man who managed to tie a rope around the ring handle. Alas when attempted to retrieve this the ring came off, and is now the handle on the local church door.

So having spent a morning out with the camera Taiga and her cubs, Mischa, Pasha and Tatana were all feeling very photogenic!
Lottie the baby white rhino at Colchester Zoo. Casually running around and terrorising the other rhinos it was quite amusing to watch.
Whilst on our long weekend we were very fortunate to be upgraded to a suite in our hotel. The view from the suite looked like this and was stunning.

The road between the camps in Birkenau, a harrowing and lasting image that cannot easily be forgotten.

Amur cub Luka managed to find some higher ground to hide from sister Lena with his piece of firehose...how long will that last!
Luka and Lena appeared after waiting in the chilly wind for around 40 minutes. Once in sight they quite casually plonked themselves on a log and sat in the sun watching on.
A quick snap of the famous view from the Pont Sant Angelo bridge. Not going to lie, had to fight to get this photo through hoards of photographers with tripods that had been camping for the "perfect moment"!
The Shoes on the Danube monument is a harrowing reminder of the atrocities that once occurred on the banks of the Danube. Having visited in 2017 originally it was one of the sites that made the most impact in Budapest and one I knew I would return to. The second visit hit home just as much as the first and is one I will not forget.
