Built in 1895 an exquisite example of Queen Anne architecture. Unlike many large Victorians, It has remained a single family home for most of its life. An impressive amount of wood carvings has been used in both the interior and exterior. it was never split up and it has survived a number of catastrophes in San Francisco from multiple earthquakes, fires, the depression, with a couple of recessions. It is located near Buena Vista Park in the Haight and it is a bed and breakfast place today.

An example of a traditional home of the local Tohono O'Odham Indians and their ancestors the Hohokams for over 2,000 years. These stick and plaster huts are still used by 2,000 members of the tribe today. Inside the dwelling it remains many degrees cooler or warmer than outside due to the insulation of the thick walls and ceiling. On display at the Tumacacori Mission historical site.
