"My concept evolved as my pictures did, but throughout the process I was trying to represent our beautiful and broken world. As young children we see flowers and rainbows and think "ooo pretty," but as we grow, we begin to understand the dark side of nature and ultimately the dark side of people. As I have learned this paradox of a beautiful and broken world which I find a constant struggle to understand, I set my eyes on my faith. This is why in the focus of my picture you will see a cross."

I was asked to produce a two minute presentation on the theme of "evolution/revolution" for the Houston chapter of the AIGA in 1998. I overthought the problem (go figure) but some of the images from my presentation were kinda fun.

Prelude, our opening show and fundraiser featured the amazing work of 15 artists representing 5 countries.
From student artwork from Ryman Arts and Star Prep Academy to emerging and establish artists, this was a great start.
We are located on the 11th floor of the historic REEF building at 1933 S. Broadway in Downtown Los Angeles. Our hours are Monday through Friday 12-5pm
