Una de les visites que vam fer durant el viatge a la costa sud d'Islàndia va ser la platja deKirkiufiara, situada molt a prop del poble de Vik i Mÿrdal. Un lloc, com tota la resta de l'Illa, brutal, un lloc precios, pero molt ventos, és veu com aigua, sense tenir unes grans onades, arriba amb molta força a la costa.

Gullfoss is an amazing waterfall, the earth just slices away leaving this powerful river to just drop one hundred feet (just out of frame of this shot). It was challenging to find a composition, and I really didn't think I had until I saw this one. It seemed to capture the power of the falls.
