Back to the Lake Cargelligo folder. If ever I felt like a kid let loose in a lolly shop, it was this morning sitting in the mud at the edge of the sewage pond. And I had it all to myself!
Whiskered tern in flight. Every now and again, they would take off, fly around in a big circle and return. Only once did a raptor fly over, so the other times must have just been for drill.

Taj Mahal - Este edifício é um mausoléu situado em Agra, uma cidade da Índia e o mais conhecido e mais visitado dos monumentos do país. Encontra-se classificado pela UNESCO como Património da Humanidade. Foi recentemente anunciado como uma das Novas Sete Maravilhas do Mundo Moderno.
Foi construído entre 1630 e 1652 com a força de cerca de 22 mil homens, trazidos de várias cidades do Oriente, para trabalhar no sumptuoso monumento de mármore branco que o imperador Shah Jahan mandou construir em memória de sua esposa favorita, Aryumand Banu Begam, a quem chamava de Mumtaz Mahal ("A jóia do palácio"). Ela morreu após dar à luz o 14º filho, tendo o Taj Mahal sido construído sobre seu túmulo, junto ao rio Yamuna.
Assim, o Taj Mahal é também conhecido como a maior prova de amor do mundo, contendo inscrições retiradas do Corão. É incrustado com pedras semipreciosas, tais como o lápis-lazúli entre outras. A sua cúpula é costurada com fios de ouro. O edifício é flanqueado por duas mesquitas e cercado por quatro minaretes.

Taj Mahal is a mausoleum located in Agra, India, that was built under Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal who died after giving birth to their 14th son.
The Taj Mahal (also "the Taj") is considered the finest example of Mughal architecture, a style that combines elements from Persian, Turkish, Indian and Islamic architectural styles.
In 1983, the Taj Mahal became a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was cited as "the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world's heritage."
While the white domed marble and tile mausoleum is most familiar, Taj Mahal is an integrated symmetric complex of structures that was completed around 1648. Ustad Ahmad Lahauri is generally considered to be the principal designer of the Taj Mahal. The Dome is adorned with gold strings and some incrustrations around the building' s walls in the marble, are demi-precious stones like lapis-lazuli and granades.

The view of a sunrise from the top of Mt. Rinjani, the second highest volcano in Indonesia, after a hike that started at 1 in the morning where the last hour and a half was all volcanic sand where every two feet up you slide down one. It was the hardest thing I have ever done but also the most rewarding. As the sun rose, it lit up the amazingly beautiful Segara Anak crater lake, as well as Gunung Agung on the island of Bali and the Gili islands just off the coast of Lombok..
this is white lotus. it is very popular flower in all walks of life. praying, wedding, all functions etc.

It is an ever changing city. You can see a blank face on the Liver Building clock. The huge hands (bigger than Big Ben's) are being refurbished. In the background, the wind turbines can just be seen on the other side of the Wirral.
A cricket ball survives through the hardest hits ... first .. the baller throws it ... it bounces off the ground ... then the batter hits it with his hard woden bat ...
and .... when she losses all the hope ...
a fielder catches it before hitting the ground ...
so dont get frustrated... and as many hits you get .... in the end ... the fielder will come...
