Auf der Anhöhe auf der die Kirche steht, stand ca. 650 Jahre eine alte südwestfälische Hallenkirche, die im Jahre 1382 erstmalig urkundlich erwähnt wurde und am Tage nach Ostern im Jahre 1910 abgerissen wurde.
Die heutige Kirche von Erndtebrück wurde 1910/11 errichtet und von dem damaligen preußischen Generalsuperintendenten Zöller eingeweiht. Erbaut wurde die Kirche von dem Architekten Ludwig Hofmann aus Herborn.

The EcoCAR EV Challenge Launch Workshop serves as the catalyst for participating teams to understand the challenge they will embark on throughout the upcoming four-year Advanced Vehicle Technology Competition (AVTC) series.
Throughout the workshop, teams heard from Competition Organizers and Headline Sponsors from the U.S. Department of Energy, General Motors, MathWorks, and Argonne National Laboratory to learn about the AVTC series structure, EcoCAR EV Challenge Goals, and in particular, how diversity, equity, and inclusion will be woven into every aspect of the series. This Workshop provided teams with their first opportunity for team-to-team collaboration - which is a tenet of AVTCs.

Baudirektor Friedrich Ludwig Schrumpf aus Wiesbaden entwarf den zehneckigen Zentralbau, der in den Jahren 1816-19 entstand. Weitere Bauten sind das Jagdschloss Platte bei Wiesbaden, die erste Bonifatiuskirche in Wiesbaden und die evangelischen Kirchen in Driedorf (1821-1827) und Marienberg (1818-1821).
