New fine art print added to my Print Shop!
Taken with Helios 44-2 and texures from 2 Lil Owls added.
With doing textures of course!
More using the Florabella collection .
I used Antique on soft light, and Little Blue book on screen.
Flowers from my yard, I love the old fashioned antique roses!
Happy Blue Monday!
Obviously #3 in the series, doesn't this look like an inviting place??
I've always loved these Adirondack chairs, the more weathered the better!

Photography is a passion of mine, but I’m also a highly skilled crocheter! And, I’ve just opened an Etsy shop with handmade home goods and plushies!! If anyone is interested in checking out my shop - shopping small business - you can find me at www.Etsy.com/shop/shannonsamiz and it’s filling up with lots of fun gift ideas for the holidays.

Thank you!

I didn't do anything to fit the PPT group theme (again) this week. Too busy still playing with Florabella textures and editing my last photo session.
Flowers from my yard, speaking of which....I HAVE to get out there and work today. I've been very neglectful lately and would just rather take pics than work in the yard :)
I used Worn linen (overlay), Allure (multiply) and Teastained (screen and overlay).
Oh how I love these textures!!!
*seen in my Etsy shop*
~Henry David Thoreau~
Oh I knew immediately when I saw that quote it would be perfect for this image!
Happy perfect purple Saturday to all.
I've missed having time to play around with textures and do some uploading.
That darn work gets in the way!!
So on this photo I finally got a chance to try Isabelle's new actions. I used her Soulful Inspire "soothe" action.
Then I used 2 textures from Shana Rae in the Florabella collection of course.
Little blue book on color burn and soft light, and Reverie (cool) on hard light.
I could make 100 different combinations with these beautiful actions and textures, and have a terrible time choosing when to stop and what to upload!!
This was finally my choice for today.

This baby sheep is 100% cloth and would make the perfect addition to a baby nursery. Available in my Etsy shop is a pure white one with purple, gray fleece. www.Etsy.com/shop/shannonsamiz- thank you for supporting my small business!! ~ Shannon
~Mrs. C.W. Earle, Pot-Pourri from a Surrey Garden, 1897~
This quote is even more meaningful to me now that I enjoy doing texture work so much to create still lifes. Seen in my Etsy shop :)
More of my vases, more of my flowers for Blue Monday.
Hardly blue for me, I'm not at work and it's beautiful outside.
Which means I'd better get out there and do some work!
Florabella textures:
Little Blue Book (linear light), Antique (overlay), Pure Milk (overlay), and Patina (soft light)
This is #2 of a series I worked on last week. I reworked some of my shots from a couple years ago when I was on the East Coast to do a "vintage look" beach series.
I used various vintage actions and textures so that they would look like old photos/postcards. I also put all four of them together as a collage on an 11x14 size paper. Lotsa fun!!!
There will be more to come! I'm hanging out at these places too, check them out or better yet, become a follower :))

This doll was first in my resin casting experience.
It was almost 1 year ago. She will celebrate
her birthday very soon ! :-)
Many thanks to all of you for taking the time to visit my gallery.
Thanks so much for all your support !
I wish a sunshine happy weekend all my friends!!!
Here's some more of those Ballerina roses from my yard, and another of my vintage vases.
And of course the wonderful Florabella textures. Here's what I used:
Bombay (overlay)
Champagne (Multiply)
Dreaminess (normal)
It's all I can do to remember to write down the textures I used let alone the %
This one printed up really nice as a mini 5x5. I have it in an antiquey looking gold frame, and it's sitting in the spot where the real roses were. So now I can enjoy year around!
Hi everyone!! Finally a day to myself, so here's another of the Seashore collection. Textures and vintage actions again for the old time feel, but I'm afraid I didn't write them down, so I don't remember all that I used. I do remember Florabella's Platinum was used though!
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend, and HBM!
Seen in the Etsy shop :)

......my love affair with Shana Rae's textures
I purchased her fantastic texture /overlay pack last night, but was too tired to work with anything.
Today however, I have been dragging out my flowers, vases and chairs to see what I could create.
Perfect timing too, because I have so many gorgeous blooming things in my yard, I don't even have to make a trip to the store! And one of my habits has been collecting vases over the years. Plus lately I've been buying small chairs for my children's photo sessions, so here ya go......my old and new addictions all rolled into one!
I decided I was going to create a new "shabby chic" set for my Flickr collections, plus I'm going to update my Red Bubble collections to include more still lifes. I love them, so why not create them??
Thank you Shana Ray for these absolutely gorgeous products!!!!
This family of singing paper boats has set off for adventures, after they' ve spent lots and lots of time reading and studying. It's time that they discover the world through their own eyes and existencies...
Sorry I haven't been a very regular poster here lately. I've been so busy lately with work, then the photo sessions on my days off.
Oh and lets not forget keeping up with:

Happy Monday everyone!
What a great weekend around Seattle, well actually TOO hot. When it's in the 90's here, it's a bit much. Hope you all had a good one!!
Here's another one that I added to my Seashore collection in the Etsy shop.
Not a whole lot of blue in here, but enough for Blue Monday??
I used one of Gina's textures and some vintage actions.
