Today we have another beautiful sim for you to stop by and explore while you’re fishing. Ethereal Sanctuary! this location has three fishing stations, and plenty to see in between those stations. As soon as you land you are engulfed with a tropical atmosphere, that was laced with romance. Leaving the landing area, you’ll find yourself either going to the small shopping strip that is complete with a small coffee shop to stop in and enjoy. Further into the sim you will find the relaxation of a chinese garden, complete with Tai Chi location facing the water to enjoy the view while you’re finding your inner Chi! This sim is full of nooks to stowaway in to enjoy some peace and quiet or enjoy a romantic evening with a partner! Taken using a ND10 Lee filter coupled with an ND4 hard grad filter to try and bring the harsh light in the sky under control.
120 second exposure taken on manual settings.
0EV and an ISO of 100

I had begun the process of packing up, frozen hands, waiting to step into the car and turn the heater on. [It was 90 a few days ago, it was 47 not counting the wind chill here] I turned around and saw this developing scene, light pouring through the ridge line, clouds and fog slipping through the trees, glowing bright and vibrant. My chills forgotten I set back up, re set my composition and waited. Waiting is the hardest part of photography, because you know what you want, and the light teases like it will relent. Most of the time you don't get the shot you're looking for. Here though, the light decided it would play along. This is the result, the wind calmed for just long enough to capture the scene, and all at once the light vanished, the wind howled and I was cold again.

I can ignore the heat, the cold, the sunburns, and the bugs out for my blood... as long as I am focused on getting a shot.
