In una mattina nebbiosa sul Lago di Candia un uccello volava solitario sopra l'acqua.
Per il titolo ho pensato a diverse opzioni ma volevo qualcosa di diverso non il classico "Alone in the fog" o qualcosa del genere. L'essenziale quindi mi è sembrato perfetto!

For the title I thought of different options but wanted something different than the classic "Alone in the Fog" or something like that. Essential so I thought it was perfect!

[Titolo: Un nuovo giorno è arrivato]
Questo scatto è il secondo della mini serie al lago di Candia (infatti questa foto l'ho scattata la stessa mattina in cui ho scattato "l'Essenziale").
Mi sono svegliato presto e sono andato al lago di Candia che al mattino ha uno spesso strato di nebbia. Il lago è popolato da numerose specie di uccelli e di anatre e per questo mi sono portato dietro un po' di pane secco per attirarle. Non è stato così facile come mi aspettavo: le anatre (che in realtà non sono propriamente delle anatre ma qualcos'altro di cui non so bene il nome) erano ancora addormentate e solo poche temerarie si erano già alzate! Il trucchetto del pane ha comunque funzionato e infatti se ne vede un pochino sotto al becco.

This shot is the second of the mini series at Candia Lake (in fact, I took that photo the same morning when I took the "Essential").
I woke up early and went to Candia Lake which in the morning has a thick layer of fog. The lake is populated by many species of birds and ducks and for this reason I took some dry bread to attract them. It was not as easy as I expected: ducks (which are not really ducks, but something else I do not know about) were still asleep and only a few dreadful ones had already risen! The bread trick worked, and in fact it is seen a little under the beak.

The name comes from Latin prātum, meaning meadow, red clover, is a herbaceous species of flowering plant in the bean family, Fabaceae. It is native to the Old World, but planted and naturalised in many other regions. It is widely grown as a fodder crop, valued for its nitrogen fixation, which increases soil fertility. For these reasons, it is used as a green manure crop. Several cultivar groups have been selected for agricultural use, mostly derived from T. pratense var. sativum. It has become naturalised in many temperate areas, including the Americas and Australasia as an escape from cultivation.
Due to its beauty, it is used as an ornamental plant. Red clover's flowers and leaves are edible, and can be added as garnishes to any dish. They can be ground into a flour.
The flowers often are used to make jelly and tisanes, and are used in essiac recipes. Their essential oil may be extracted and its unique scent used in aromatherapy. Trifolium pratense is the state flower of Vermont.

✏️ La fotografia è un'opera di intensa suggestione emotiva, in cui il bianco e nero diventa lo strumento essenziale per esprimere un senso profondo di isolamento e contemplazione. L’immagine ritrae una piccola barca solitaria che galleggia su un lago immobile, avvolta da una fitta nebbia che offusca la linea dell’orizzonte e dissolve i contorni del paesaggio, sfumandoli in un’atmosfera eterea.

Fu fatto costruire tra il 1556 e il 1560 dal Maresciallo di Francia Charles Cossè de Brissac, su progetto dell’ing. vicentino Francesco Orologi, per l’irrigazione delle colture e per l’alimentazione di mulini ed opifici. Il canale di Caluso, nei tempi passati detto Bealera Brissaca (in omaggio al suo costruttore), trasporta l’acqua dell’Orco dall’altezza di Spineto, vicino Castellamonte, a Caluso e successivamente, dal Settecento, fino alla Mandria di Chivasso. Si tratta di un’opera essenziale per l’economia agricola del Basso Canavese.
Canale di Caluso. It was built between 1556 and 1560 by the Marshal of France Charles Cossè de Brissac, based on a project by Eng. Francesco Orologi from Vicenza, for the irrigation of crops and for the supply of mills and factories. The Caluso canal, in the past called Bealera Brissaca (in homage to its builder), transports the water of the Orco from the height of Spineto, near Castellamonte, to Caluso and subsequently, from the eighteenth century, up to the Mandria di Chivasso. It is an essential work for the agricultural economy of the Lower Canavese.

Les premiers muqarnas apparurent en Iran-Irak à la fin du XIe siècle, sous la dynastie seldjoukide.Au XIe sièclela littérature persane les évoque sous le nom de « pieds de gazelle »
Parmi les théories énoncées , les muquarnas auraient été créées à l'origine probablement pour des raisons structurelles pour équilibrer les forces murales des constructions carrées lors de création de coupoles.....puis avec un caractère décoratif qui serait devenu ensuite le but essentiel , même sans présence de coupole ...... Mais le travail des chercheurs est de chercher et encore mieux de trouver.....!!!!!

Among the theories that have been put forward, muquarnas were probably originally created for structural reasons, to balance the wall forces of square buildings when domes were created....., then with a decorative character that later became the essential purpose, even without the presence of a dome ....... But the researcher's job is to look and, better still, to find.....!!!!

Come si sa in Inghilterra il tempo cambia nella stessa giornata.
In questa immagine ha appena smesso di piovere, ma era quella tipica piogerellina estiva, quindi ecco che vediamo questa signora con la borsa e l'ombrello, io penso che è una Local English lady, non turista.
Lei è andata a prendere un pò poca spesa per il giorno ... come il latte essenziale per "cups of tea", e poi si incammina verso il suo "cosy" cottage.
La prima cosa che farà arrivata a casa è " to put the kettle on" per bersi al più presto una o due belle tazze di quel tea con il latte, e così buono, che solo in Inghilterra si può gustare.
Posso dire questo perchè l'ho constatato me stessa, usando lo stesso tipo di tea aggiungendo il latte , ma facendolo quì in Italia non ha lo stesso sapore di quello che si beve in inghilterra.
Pur con i tanti "Shopping Center" e Supermarkets, esistono ancora i negozietti vicini a casa, e appunto "shop round the corner" è il negozio all'angolo, a due passi da casa.
Questi particolari negozi ci sono tanto più a Castle Combe.

As we know in England the weather changes in the same day.
In this picture it just stopped raining, but it was that typical summer raindrops, so here we see this lady with the bag and the umbrella, I think it's a local English lady, not a tourist.
She maybe just went to get some little shopping for the day ... like the essential milk for "cups of tea", and then she goes to her "cosy" cottage.
The first thing when she gets home is "to put the kettle on" to drink one or two cups of tea with milk that's so good, and only in England can be enjoyed.
I can say this because I found it myself, using the same type of tea by adding milk, but doing so in Italy does not have the same flavor of what you drink in England.
Even with the many "Shopping Center" and Supermarkets, there are still shops close to home, and "shops round the corner" .
These particular shops are all the more at Castle Combe.
