A late night of working on my extended essay. Had to get some relief and take out the camera...
High contrast to try and get the different objects to really stand out from each other as well as larger aparture setting (low f/ number) to blur items in the background...

Scientific sounding answers are better than slang ones. An answer choice that begins "To compare the outcomes..." is much more likely to be correct than one that begins "Because some people insisted..." #test #essay
I was supposed to write an essay based on the idea of Francis Alys' Guards (2004), but somehow didn't write an essay at all and got very carried away. It went from a critical look at the place of walking in modern art to attempting to dissolve all logical meaning entirely. Initially a snide piss-take, I wrote a ludicrous non-story about the City of London and its inhabitants. After that the form of the essay went out of the window too. A fuller explanation and the complete PDFs can be found goo.gl/WdhlCg.
The "Cut up" of writing was pioneered by Dadaists and later used by Beat Generation poets. I didn't manipulate individual lines or letters but instead used chunks of text and sewed them back together to turn the written text into something more visual and dissolve meaning even further.
Father Guy Theunis, 60, appears before a Gacaca court in Kigali, Rwanda, Sunday, Sept. 11, 2005. The Belgian priest was arrested while he was transiting in Rwanda and accused of reproducing articles encouraging the killings of the Tutsi minority by the Hutu extremists. Gacaca courts are a new form of community justice that have been used in Rwanda in the wake of the Rwandan genocide. The system involves both victims and witnesses in an interactive court proceeding against alleged criminals. (AP Photo/Riccardo Gangale)

The Book of Death includes poems, essays and illustrations by Maxime Taccardi with ink, acrylic, pencil and the artist blood. "My visions come from my dreams for most of the time, I try to let an open wound between reality and dreams. My Blood paintings are symbolically linked to that idea. I cut my wrists and use the brush directly on my wound. It is not intended to shock people as some would think but is merely a process. I see art as some sort of a ritual, a chat between spirits and my mortal flesh. I do recall on what philosopher Plato said about art which is the manifestation of spirits through artist bodies."
Raised to be stupid, taught to be nothing at all.. .
I don't belong here...
Algunos nacen póstumos, dijo Nietzsche; y me conmovio.
Lobos esteparios, podria decir.
Fin de la transmision.. .
