Torre Jaume I is a 107-metre high steel truss tower in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, which was built in 1931 by Carlos Boigas. The tower is currently the fifth-tallest aerial lift pylon in the world, and is a part of the Port Vell Aerial Tramway from Torre Sant Sebastia to Montjuïc.

O Parque dos Moinhos, situado nas cascatas do rio Barosa, na freguesia de Barro, Galiza, é um espaço natural que abriga um conjunto de quedas de água que descem por várias camadas rochosas, formando pequenas lagoas e canais. Este local é rico em património etnográfico, com vários moinhos de água construídos entre os séculos XVII e XIX, que aproveitavam a força do rio para a moagem de cereais, exemplificando a arquitetura rural galega ligada à pequena propriedade agrícola. Ao longo do percurso pedestre circular, os visitantes podem observar vestígios desses moinhos, desfrutar de trilhos, pontes, zonas de piquenique e piscinas naturais. O parque, ponto de passagem do Caminho Português de Santiago, é um destino popular para caminhadas e contacto com a natureza.
Parque dos Moinhos, located in the Barosa river waterfalls, in the parish of Barro, Galicia, is a natural space that houses a set of waterfalls that descend through several rocky layers, forming small lagoons and channels. This place is rich in ethnographic heritage, with several water mills built between the 17th and 19th centuries, which took advantage of the river's strength to grind cereals, exemplifying the Galician rural architecture linked to small agricultural properties. Along the circular pedestrian path, visitors can observe traces of these mills, enjoy trails, bridges, picnic areas and natural pools. The park, a crossing point on the Portuguese Way of St. James, is a popular destination for hiking and contact with nature.

Esta é a escultura em bronze 'Minotauro', do artista Casto Solano, localizada em Vitoria-Gasteiz. A obra retrata o ser mitológico numa pose relaxada, sentado num banco, contrastando a sua natureza poderosa com a aparente calma do momento. Os detalhes nas vestes, com os seus ornamentos e textura, são minuciosos, assim como a expressão facial do Minotauro, que parece refletir um misto de cansaço e contemplação. A luz do sol realça a cor do bronze e projeta sombras que interagem com a arquitetura urbana ao redor. É uma peça que mescla o mundo clássico da mitologia com a modernidade do espaço público.
This month, I took Barney out for a wander around the local city of Hereford one evening. We made sure to visit the lovely cathedral, to see the "Weeping Window" there, which is on display for just a few weeks. The artwork, created to mark World War I, was really beautiful - created with ceramic poppies. We were lucky to visit at a fairly quiet time...
The area wasn't totally deserted though - what you can't see here, were the other photographers nearby, who'd set up cameras on tripods & were standing around waiting for sunset. There were also a couple of men who I think were on duty, watching to make sure no-one stepped over the low barriers & disturbed the poppies. Our small audience - esp the photographers, were delighted by Barney, particularly when he did a couple of tricks for the camera - waving & "sit pretty". I could hear oohs & ahhs, exclamations of "What a lovely dog", "How sweet!"... "Isn't he good?!".
Barney was being very good, bless him, but knowing we were being observed added a little urgency to taking pictures! The auto-focus on my lens isn't working - I have to fiddle about to manually focus & Barney has limited patience for posing. I had visions of him deciding he'd been "good" long enough & trotting off to introduce himself to his admirers - or more embarrassingly, going to play amongst the poppies. I would have to chase him, followed by security guards & of course, it would all be caught on camera by the photographers! He's looking rather serious here but Barney enjoyed his extra brief photo-shoot & judging from how he wagged his tail at people as we left, he really liked being called a "good dog" by everyone ;-)
