Lo mĆ”s curioso de esta planta es que dura unos 40 aƱos y antes de morirse tiene lugar la floraciĆ³n. Solo florece una vez y la flor estĆ” formada por un tallo enorme de unos 10 o 12 metros que termina con varias ramas con flores de color amarillo. Una vez se cae la flor, la planta se muere, pero antes deja sus hijuelos.
Estos hijuelos son a travƩs de los cuales se multiplica la Pita.

Yet another crazy shot, going back to the slow speed panning approach, keeping focus on the boat, this time focusing manually. My purpose this time was to freeze the effect of the stroke on the water surface. You can still see the tale-telling shadow of the red oar which just got out of the water. Technically, it was a really lousy dirty stroke: a perfect stroke wouldn't have risen any water.
Otra locura de disparo, volviendo a la tĆ©cnica de barrido a baja velocidad, manteniendo el enfoque sobre el bote, esta vez con enfoque manual. Mi intenciĆ³n esta vez era congelar el efecto de la palada sobre la superficie del agua. TodavĆa se aprecia la sombra reveladora de la pala roja que acaba de salir. TĆ©cnicamente fue una mala palada (saca sucio, dirĆa un remero): una palada perfecta no hubiera levantado agua.

A Cascata do Rio Barosa, localizada no Parque da Natureza do RĆo Barosa, em Barro, Espanha, oferece um espetĆ”culo natural impressionante. The first documentary reference to this castle is of Muslim origin, and dates from 848.
In the 11th century it passed into the hands of King Alfonso VI as part of the dowry of his wife Zaida, daughter of the Moorish king.
Later Alfonso VI donated it to the Cathedral of Toledo, being reformed in the 14th century by Archbishop Don Pedro Tenorio. In the time of Juan I of Castilla, he served as a prison, for 8 years, for the infant D. Alfonso.
Modernly he lived an act of arms in 1809, during the War of Independence. Nearby there was a great battle between the troops of the Spanish general Venegas, and the French of SebastiƔn, Desoyen and JosƩ Bonaparte himself. The Gauls took the castle, destroying it in part upon their withdrawal.

[ESP] La iglesia de San Pedro de Villacadima (Guadalajara, EspaƱa), edificada en el siglo XII, originariamente constaba de una sola nave con portada en la fachada sur. En los siglos XV-XVI se ampliĆ³ dotĆ”ndole de tres naves reaprovechando los materiales existentes y trasladando la portada a su ubicaciĆ³n actual. De esta Ćŗltima Ć©poca son el Ć”bside y las capillas absidiales de las naves laterales, el trazado es de planta cuadrada con bĆ³vedas nervadas-ojivales, y la sacristĆa de bĆ³veda de caĆ±Ć³n de sillerĆa. En el muro de poniente se aprecia la espadaƱa romĆ”nica de tres vanos y la torre de planta cuadrada que se construyĆ³ en los siglos XV-XVI. La Ćŗltima reforma fue realizada por Francisco Blas en 1649 para sobreelevar las cubiertas y dotarle de un artesonado mudĆ©jar del que solo se conservan los tirantes y los arrostramientos de las esquinas de madera policromada que se apoyan en mĆ©nsulas de madera tallada. En el siglo XVIII se edificĆ³ la barbacana de entrada con dos puertas, de las que se conserva una.
La portada romĆ”nica es el elemento mĆ”s peculiar, presenta clara influencia mudĆ©jar, formada por cuatro arquivoltas semicirculares, la mĆ”s externa muestra decoraciĆ³n floral entrelazada, las dos siguientes baquetones lisos, y la interna decoraciĆ³n geomĆ©trica en zig-zag. El interior del arco lo forma un dintel semicircular hecho a base de curiosas dovelas con dentellones, cada una tallada con un adorno vegetal. El alero que cobija a la puerta se sostiene con varios canecillos tallados.
[ENG] St. PeterĀ“s Church of Villacadima (Guadalajara, Spain): Built in de beginning of the 12th century in Roman style and altered in the 16th century. We can appreciate its Roman faƧade outside, formed by four semicircular archivolts, the outer one showing intertwined vegetation themes, the next two smooth beaded archivolts and the inner one showing a geometrical zig-zag decoration. The inside of the arch is formed by a semicircular lintel, made with voussoir dentils, each of them having a carved vegetation themes. The eaves which shelters the door is held with several carved corbels. The inside of the temple keeps the wooden coffering with rest of polychrome, two gravestones with inscriptions and decorated baptismal font from the 16th century.
