See the edge of the tank there...see that crafty spider right at the top there? A scary moment - he's never made it that far up the side before - he was freaking out and desperately scrambling up the side when I looked at him earler, so I got the tank down and took the lid off to watch what he was up to.
I must stop watching "The Great Escape" in view of his tank....

The completed fin can for my Escape Velocity rocket (by Giant Leap Rocketry). At the bottom there's a Slimline motor retainer then a wooden centering ring. On the centering ring is a small tube that is not glued (it will be used when the fin can is inserted into the main tube). Then the fins themselves. At the top of the fins comes the shock cord. It was supposed to not be sewed on both ends and I was supposed to glue it to the fins, but since it was sewed on both ends I got a 2 inch keyring, attached it to that then epoxyed the keyring to the top of the fins. Finally at the top of the fins, another centering ring. All of this is on the 38 mm motor tube that will hold the rocket engine. This rocket will end up taking an H, I, or J engine.

A neighbor helped evacuate a woman inside her burning home before firefighters arrived in Crystal Lake Friday evening, fire officials said.
The Crystal Lake Fire/Rescue Department was called at 8:39 p.m. Friday to the 200 block of West Woodstock Street for a reported structure fire.
Fire officials said that a woman was inside the home at the time the fire started but a neighbor notified the woman, who was able to escape safely before firefighters arrived.
Fire crews arrived at the scene five minutes after being dispatched and found smoke and flames coming from the second floor and roof of the single-family home. The fire was elevated to a second alarm through the Mutual Aid Box Alarm System (MABAS), which brought numerous neighboring fire departments to the scene.
“The crews attempted to make entry, but quickly retreated from the building as the entire attic area was involved in fire,” fire officials said.
Firefighters worked from the outside of the building to apply water to the attic and the fire was deemed under control at 9:58 p.m. No injuries to the occupants or firefighters were reported.
Extensive damage to the roof, attic and second floor was reported. The home is uninhabitable due to structural damage from the fire and water. Damage was estimated at $125,000, fire officials said.
Investigators are working to determine the cause and origin of the fire.
