Micah always prides himself on being an “untouchable” criminal; however, there have been many instances where he has gotten caught, often when partaking in more public crimes, such as robbery, assault, and arson. He has had more than a few run-ins with police (even years before he began his reign as the leader of an organization of cyber criminals), but somehow always managed to slip away—though not without getting a few scratches and bruises in the process. One might call him an escape artist of sorts, with the way he’s able to free himself from any bondage he may find himself in. It’s no wonder his personal theme song is “Catch Me If You Can,” by Set It Off, because even if you catch him, you won’t have him for long 😌
Escape hatch in the Complex 13 blockhouse. After crawling through the narrow tunnel, I am standing in a tower where a ladder leads to an exterior hatch on the front (pad-facing side) of the blockhouse.
The escape stairs of the Concertgebouw in Bruges. Lovely detail of the painted rails in contrast to the exposed concrete.

A crowd gathers in the Swift Current Mall parking lot to watch Nic Brice escape from a strait jacket while suspended 60ft in the air.
As I noted yesterday, a year ago I'd pretty much had it with shooting pix around the yard and in the village. So I drove to Grand Ledge and wandered around downtown for a while.
It was, all in all, a satisfactory, if short, road trip.

This building--built as the Odd Fellows building--is across River Street from the Grand Ledge Opera House. It's an interesting place that I've photographed before, but never from this angle. (You want to read the Grand Ledge Historical Society note in that pic's comments!)
I do like that fire escape. And the marvelous brickwork.
The 366 Snaps photo was actually of the weathered post; the stairway down to the river is just a framing device. And is where you go to feed the geese.

This photograph is an outtake from my 2012 photo-a-day project, 366 Snaps.
Number of project photos taken: 35

Other photos taken on 6/12/2012: The Daily Flower Census, taken as usual with the Nikon 1, consisted of Cosmos and Daylilies and the Honeysuckle. No Raccoons, but I caught the neighbor's cat considering an invasion....

psychedelic sounds and lights - funky stuff!
Its good to get away from the world once in a while...disconnect...and then get the jitters for solid internet connectiviey when you are away...
vacations were well needed for both of us - hadn;t realized until we got away...
...looking for the great escape.
Gets in his car and drives away,
far from all the things that we are.
Puts on a smile and breathes it in
and breathes it out, he says,
bye bye bye to all of the noise...
During its prison days, escapes from Alcatraz were very rare, Trying to escapes from Alcatraz Island is nearly impossible, unless u have the boat. The San Francisco Bay's incredbly strong curents, icy temperatures and great white sharks are powerful deterent but none of these have stopped active maximum inmates from attemting to break out.

This was the area between the cell blocks where one of the escape attempts was made. The original picture didn't come out so well so I messed around with it. Now it doesn't look much better but it sure looks creepier.
These metallic fire escape steps lead down to a pathway dotted with white painted walking figures. The one here is missing a leg and is reminiscent of the outlines drawn around victims in cop films.
The most obviously disturbing image in this series, it does not shy away from ones darkest thoughts and is nonetheless part of the emotional narrative.
From the 2013 River to River Festival performance of Roadside Attraction by Third Rail Projects. We continue with our story where the Mom watches her daughter's boyfriend working out. Her Id, portrayed by her look-alike, acts out her fantasy.
sometimes the city life was too intence to let me wanna jump out of the frame and get far away from it!
Drug use is common. They can not escape his reality and society excludes the possibility of rejoining her.
(...) No chance of escape,
Now self-employed,
Concerned (but powerless),
An empowered and informed member of society
(Pragmatism not idealism),
Will not cry in public,
Less chance of illness,
Tires that grip in the wet
(Shot of baby strapped in back seat),
A good memory,
Still cries at a good film,
Still kisses with saliva,
No longer empty and frantic like a cat tied to a stick,
That's driven into frozen winter shit
(The ability to laugh at weakness),
Calm,
Fitter,
Healthier and more productive
A pig in a cage on antibiotics.
