Not really an "escape hatch" ; -). It's a window on the spiral stairway inside the tower of Whitefish Point Lighthouse, Michigan.
The Hindus say that we don't see reality directly, we see it through the veils of obscuration.
But we can escape them with clear intention, diligence and vigilance.
I wish it could be as simple as buying a good pair of running shoes.
I'm off Flckr more than on.
Still in Arizona, Florida delayed due to a minor yucky illness, but now on the mend. Just have to rebook, no big deal.
Taken at Panama City Beach, FL, at the bay. The shot reminds me of light escaping from a dark place...
I saw these walls just striped blocks with backlight and cannot help get attracted by it. Thought it provides a level of abstraction that can evoke a sense of escape or dream.

I shot only this one photo of the young woman at Flensburg Fjord, not wanting to disturb her calm. She seemed to hear music, sunk in her thoughts and she also has something to read on the bench.
